RCMP investigating object thrown at vehicle causing serious eye damage on Highway 2
Peace Regional RCMP are asking for the public's help after a driver sustained severe eye damage when an object was thrown at their car on Oct. 22.
Around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 22, Mounties received a report that a vehicle had been struck with an object while heading eastbound on Highway 2.
Mounties say further investigation determined the incident happened between 2:15 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. RCMP said a truck was travelling westbound on Highway 2, near the airport, when an object was thrown out a window. The object shattered the windshield of the vehicle which caused severe eye damage to the driver.
